EMP MALAYSIA RECEIVES LAST ORDER FOR 2015

Our company has just received our final order for 2015. This new order is for the supply and delivery of a new Riello Press 2G diesel burner to our Thai customer.
We hope to send the goods out by next week.

EMP MALAYSIA SUBMITS PRESS 2G BURNER TO OLD THAI CUSTOMER

Our company has submitted our prices to our long term Thai customer for 1 set of Press 2G high/low 2 stage diesel burner this afternoon.

After an absence of a few years, this customer has referred back to our company for their procurement.

We are waiting for their official purchase order.

ETHEPHON PLUS, TAPPING KNIVES AND ACCESSORIES ARRIVE IN AFRICA

On 8th. December 2015, our 2 crates of goods arrived in
Africa

We shipped these goods in October by sea. Arrangement is being made to deliver these goods to our customer.

It is good that the goods arrive there before the New Year.

We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and very Happy NewYear 2016.

EMP MALAYSIA SUBMITS HEAT EXCHANGERS QUOTATION

Our company has submitted our prices for the supply and delivery of 2 sets of steam heating heat exchangers.

Our client wants to buy them for maintenance work. If they have these spare heat exchangers in stock, they can take out existing heat exchanger(s) and clean them out at their pace. The new ones can be put in to replace the heat exchangers.

By doing so, it saves time and reduces downtime.

Our managing director will follow up this matter when he visits the customer on the first week of 2016.

MEETING UP WITH OLD FRIEND FROM MYANMAR

Today our managing director met up with an old business friend from Myanmar. Mr. Sein has met up with me in early 2000. He came to KL on business and we met up to discuss business opportunies in Myanmar

It is good for Mr. Sein to contact me again. 

As Myanmar goes into a new phase after the general elections, 2016 can be exciting for Myanmar in attracting foreign investors.

EMP FANS DIVISION SUBMITS OIL PALM MILL FANS TO INDONESIA

Our Fans Division has just submitted our price quotation to our Indonesian customer for 3 sets of oil palm mill Cowdray centrifugal fans.

Our Indonesian buyer bought these fans in 2013 and now they have asked our company to quote and hopefully to buy again these fans.

Besides our major projects in rubber processing lines in the ASEAN region, our company has also been exporting our Cowdray and Systemair range of Centrifugal and Axial fans.

Our company has supplied these fans to Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia and Vietnam.

POST INSTALLATION INSPECTION COMPLETED IN THAILAND

Our MD has completed his post installation inspection visit from 27th. October to 31st. October 2015. A written post installation visit report was submitted to our buyer for their action especially on the skim block hybrid dryer.

The processing line has been in operation since May 2015 and this scheduled 6 months visit is appropriate to check on the processing line.

POST INSTALLATION INSPECTION

Our managing director is flying to Surat Thani to do a post installation inspection on our EMP Skim block processing line. Need to tie up some loose ends and to check performance of the wet and dry lines.
He will return on Saturday.

EX-STOCK HELICAL GEARBOX FOR SALES

We currently have 2 ex-stock helical gearboxes for sales. They can be used for the fabrication of Wet Slab Cutter, Wet Twin Scroll prebreaker and for 16" diameter x 28" Crepers. Motor input can be from 40 to 60 HP TEFC motors.

By end of 2015, these two sets of helical gearboxes have been taken up. They are being used for fabricating 2 sets of 14 in.x 28in crepers.

EMP MALAYSIA SENDS OUT EXPORT ORDER

After receiving our export order for tapping knives, Ethephon Plus and sharpening stones, our company has shipped out the above goods to our customer.

Packed in 2 crates, the shrinked wrapped goods are placed on 2 plastic crates. The items are expected to reach the final destination by December 2015.

EMP MALAYSIA RECEIVES TAPPING ACCESSORIES ORDER

Our long term customer from Africa has given us an order for Ethephon Plus latex stimulant, tapping knives and sharpening stones. An official order has been received.
We will expedite this order as soon as possible.

EMP GROUP CHAIRMAN PASSES ON

Our Chairman of the EMP Group of Companies, Mr. Kang Weng Piew, has passed away peacefully on 11th August 2015. 

He was 93 years old. He was our Chairman since 1985 and due to old age, he has not been active in the operation of the company. The daily operation was being handled by our Managing Director, Mr. T W Kang.

EMP MALAYSIA TRADING DIVISION SUBMITS TAPPING ACCESSORIES TO AFRICA

Our long term African plantation group has requested us to submit our price quotation for tapping accessories and Ethephon Plus 10% concentration. We have submitted our prices for acceptance and approval. This order if it is accepted, is larger than last years order as they want to buy more knives and latex stimulants. We are waiting for their reply.

EMP MALAYSIA QUOTES 2 MT/HR TROLLEY DRYER TO LAOS

A Thai contractor has asked our company to submit our price quotation for our 2mt/hr trolley dryer to a rubber factory in Laos.

Our company has already submitted our prices for their evaluation.

They saw our trolley dryer at our Thai client in Thailand recently.

We hope to follow up on this submission.

GAS BURNER OF EMP HYBRID RUBBER DRYER ENERGISED

After testing the steam heating system, the final gas burner was activated yesterday. This gas heating is to be used if the steam heating was not used.
During this site visit, our MD had a fall and injured his right foot. Luckily, the injury was not serious though his leg has to be in cast.

He had to seek medical treatment at Thaksin hospital in Surat Thani. His right angle has to be Xrayed in order to assess the injury. The right heel was fractured by taking the full force of the fall.

LOADING OF WET RUBBER CRUMBS INTO DRYER TROLLEYS

A horizontal moving loading hopper was added to our static screen for loading wet rubber crumbs from the crumb transfer pump into the dryer trolleys. By doing so, only one person is used to load the crumbs into the trolleys.

Our complete EMP Skim Block rubber processing line is now in full operation. Our complete EMP Wet processing line is functioning well and our dry line i.e. the hybrid dryer, automatic rubber baling press and Metal detector are also in operation.

Our managing director, Mr. Kang will be flying into Surat Thani next week for a final installation inspection.

100% DRYING BY STEAM

Our Thai customer has started to test our EMP dryer with 100% steam heating. The dryer has been operating for 24 hours.
The optimum temperature has been reached and they are able to continue drying continuously.

Our dryer works well if it is being operated continuously.

EMP GROUP LAUNCHES NEW CONTINUOUS TRAY DRYER

EMP Malaysia Engineering and Projects Division has designed and launched our new space saving continuous tray dryer. No return track is needed if compared with existing trolley driers. At the same time, dried bales can be discharged automatically. The new drier works well with our single chamber automatic rubber press.

Mr Kang and our electrical supervisor successfully tested all our EMP Skim block line yesterday. We are satisfied with the performance of the Wet Process line and dry line though they were tested without rubber.

The client will begin to test our line with rubber soon. We intend to visit the factory again in 3 months time.

Our company is currently testing our EMP Skim block processing system in Thailand. All the machinery, hybrid dryer, press and metal detector are functioning according to our designed parameters.

EMP COMPLETES M & E INSTALLATION AT SITE

Finally after 3 months delay, our Wet Process line for our EMP Skim Block line is completed. The line was installed after the concrete plinth was completed. Now, the line has been wired up and is ready for final checking and testing. This will be done after the Songkran holidays next week.

We are doing the wiring of our EMP wet processing line of our skim block  processing line in Thailand.

Once it is completed, we will be sending our electrical supervisor to test the wet line and dry line of the skim block line.

EMP MALAYSIA TURNS 30 IN 2015

Time flies as we get older, so the saying goes.
It is also true for our company.

Founded in 1985, our company turns 30 this year. Our company has seen good times and bad times but with prudent management, we made it until today.

Due to age, our Chairman has decided to retire as the current Chairman with immediate effect. He is eighty nine years old.

Mr. Kang Weng Piew has been our Chairman for the past 30 years.He remains as our Honorary Chairman and shareholder of our company.

Mr. TW Kang remains as the Managing director and manages the company's daily affairs.

Our company wants to wish our clients, manufacturers, suppliers, agents and well wishers for their continuous support to our company over all these years.

EMP SKIM BLOCK LINE BEING INSTALLED

Our EMP Skim block system that will process the wet rubber blocks into crumbs is being installed at out client's rubber factory.

Electrical wiring will soon be installed to the machinery. Once completed, our personnel will be traveling to site to check the mechanical and electrical installation before we test run the complete line.

EMP MALAYSIA TESTS SKIM BLOCK DRYER

Our company has started to test our Skim block dryer in Surat Thani. Steam line is also being installed. We tested the exhaust fan and cooling fan late this afternoon.
The wet line will be installed in March 2015 and electrical wiring installed. We hope to test and commission the complete skim block line by April 2015.

EMP MALAYSIA SUBMITS PRICE QUOTATION FOR 700,000 PCS. OF LATEX CUPS AND ACCESSORIES

EMP Malaysia Trading Division has quoted a potential customer for the supply and delivery of 700,000 sets of latex cups and tapping accessories to a Malaysian company. The quantity involved is large eventhough the costs of each latex cup and tapping accessories are on the lower end. As such, the final figure for this tender is quite substantial.

In view of the long delivery date, it is necessary for us to include the new 6% GST value into the overall price. By doing so, the price has gone up by 6% from our prices. We look forward to the feedback on this submission.

EX-STOCK NEW FOOT MOUNTED 40HP MOTORS AND NEW HELICAL GEARBOXES FOR SALE

Our EMP Trading Division has some new ex-stock 40HP, 1450 RPM, 3 Phase 415 Volts foot mounted motors for sale. We have 3 sets of these SIMEX brand motor for immediate sales. The motors are new and not used at all. Ex-stock and Ex-Kuala Lumpur price is RM 2,900.00 per set only.

At the same time, we have ex-stock 2 sets of new Flencon Helical ZSY 224 31:1 ratio gearboxes from China suitable for pre-breaking rubber machinery such as wet prebreaker and wet slab cutters. They are suited for 60-75 HP motor input as the prime mover. Ex-stock and Ex-Kuala Lumpur : RM 9,500.00 per set only.

EMP FANS DIVISION DELIVERS 2 SETS OF CENTRIFUGAL FANS

Our Fans Division has recently delivered 2 sets of Centrifugal fans to our customer. They are using them for their cooling tunnel fabrication.

They ordered these fans in December 2014 and we are able to deliver them in mid January 2015. As they are delivered before 1st. April 2015, we will not be charging the 6% GST in our invoice. Any deliveries made after 1st. April 2015 are subject to 6% GST.

Our Trading Division has just submitted our price quotation to q local rubber plantation company. The company is starting to tap their new rubber trees which are ripe for initial tapping. Our prices include 6% GST if the goods are delivered after 1st. April 2015.

As such, if orders are placed now and delivered before 31st. March 2015, we will not charge you the 6% GST in our invoices.
