EMP PROJECTS AND ENGINEERING DIVISION SUBMITS PRICE QUOTATION FOR RUBBER PROCESSING SYSTEM

A potential Sri Lankan client has requested us to submit a proposal for converting their existing creping system into a block rubber system.

They currently crepe the cup lumps by manual creping, air dry them and pass the dried crepe into a final size reduction machinery before packing them. The current process is time consuming and production is slow especially you need to air dry the wet crepe. Moreover, a lot of labour is used to make the crepe, hang them and remove the dried crepe. The time taken is at least 4-5 days.

However, if they implement our proposal, the end product can be packed and ready for delivery within 24 hours or less. Drying of the crumbs via our Final Shredder, crumb rubber dryer and pressing takes only about 3 to 4 hours not days. Production can be increased as drying is now not a limiting factor.

We submitted our proposal to them today.

Interested parties who want to modernise their existing factories can always email us at : TWKANG@emp.com.my

EMP MALAYSIA RE-SUBMIT EMP TSR 20 PROCESSING LINE TO SOUTH ASIAN CUSTOMER

A South Asian customer visited us this week to discuss about a TSR 20 Rubber Processing line in a South Asian country.

Instead of a 1mt/hr processing line, his client wanted to reduce the capacity as they face problems in obtaining the necessary raw material in that country. They prefer a manual processing line instead of an automatic processing line.

Our company re-configured the process line into a manual line but in the future, they can turn the line into a fully automatic line by just adding some additional equipment.

Our agent there will be meeting the client tomorrow and re-submit our offer to them for acceptance. We have to wait for his outcome on this matter.

OUR MD VISITED S. THAILAND TO SUPERVISE INSTALLATION SKIM BLOCK DRYER AND MEET NEW CLIENT

In January 2014, our Managing Director visited S. Thailand to check on client about his construction of their skim block factory. Once their factory is ready, we will travel there again to supervise the installation of our 1mt/hr Skim block dryer using steam heating.

During our visit, we also travelled to another Thai rubber company who is keen to set up a 1mt/hr Skim block rubber processing line as well. They also intend to use waste steam generated from their boiler. Mr. Kang went there to check their existing factory space.

Since that visit, our company has submitted our Proforma Invoice to them for evaluation and feedback. Overall, our proposal is positive subject to some technical questions. We hope we can clinch this order in early 2014.

MR. KANG, OUR MD VISITS SOUTHERN THAILAND

Our Managing Director, Mr. TW Kang, flew into Southern Thailand yesterday to meet a potential client who wants to produce skim block using steam heating.

He is there to survey their factory and current processing system. He visited the factory yesterday afternoon and will have an in-depth business discussion with the management staff about this project.

Initial survey shows there is ample space for the automatic processing skim block line. Their current method is manual Creping before making crepe for air drying. A large number of labour is involved.

If the new line is invested, labour will be reduced and production capacity can be increased and production time is reduced drastically.

We will know more after our discussion tomorrow.
