6th. April 2012

Our EMP Trading Division will be receiving a trial order of 1.2mt of Ethephon Plus 2.5% by this new client soon. They want to test how effective and reliable our Ethephon Plus product before they decide to import in bulk.

This is a new breakthrough into a new market which has big potential in the future.

Once the funds are paid, shipment will be made.

1st. April 2012

Our EMP Trading Division has been asked to quote for the supply and delivery of 40 metric tonnes of Ethephon Plus to an ASEAN country.

The supply is for 2.5% concentration of Ethephon Plus and we have quoted our prices based on bulk basis (25kg jars) in 2 Nos. 20ft. container.

We will be competing with other sources of Ethephon suppliers but our product has been proven to be reliable and consistant in quality.

Besides this ASEAN country, we have received orders from a South Asian country for the supply and delivery of 2.5% and 5% concentrations of our Ethephon Plus latex stimulants.

DIRECTORS OF EMP MALAYSIA VISIT SYSTEMAIR MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN MALAYSIA

The Managing Director and Director of EMP Malaysia paid a courtesy factory visit to Systemair Manufacturing facility in Kuala Lumpur today.

One of EMP Malaysia directors is a qualified electrical engineer who is semi retired in Australia. He wanted to see the manufacturing facilities of the Axial and Centrifugal fans fabricated by Systemair - a global Swedish company located in Kuala Lumpur.

Our Fan Division has contributed significantly to the overall 2011 sales of the company. The axial, centrifugal and in-line tubular fans were sold in 2011 overseas and in Malaysia.

EMP Malaysia has been exporting Systemair Axial and Centrifugal fans over the years. Last year we exported a 40ft. container load of 15 sets of Systemair Centrifugal fans to Bangladesh.

Also, we sold some Axial fans and Centrifugal fans to some Malaysian companies as well.

The visit is to see first hand the quality and production systems used by Systemair Malaysia in manufacturing quality and world standard Axian and Centrifugal fans in Malaysia.

ETHEPHON PLUS ORDERS AND ENQUIRIES INCREASE

Our Trading Division has been receiving new orders and repeat orders for our range of Ethephon Plus Latex stimulants over these few weeks.

Moreover, new enquiries and new sample orders are also being placed by our new buyers of our Ethephon Plus products.

Our Ethephon Plus products have been proven to be effective and reliable in increasing rubber trees yield without any harmful effect to the trees. It has been reported some Ethephon products manufactured by an Asian country were priced very low. However, some buyers of these products found that they are not effective and inconsistent. They have came back to us for our products instead.

Please be reminded that pricing of any product CANNOT be the sole reason to buy the competitor product unless they have been proven and field tested over the years. Moreover, the normal fertilizer application regime must be followed and used in tandem with the application of latex stimulants.

EMP MALAYSIA PROJECTS AND ENGINEERING DIVISION CLINCHES SKIM BLOCK RUBBER PROJECT

EMP MALAYSIA has received a 1mt/hour Skim Block processing system from their Thai client. The skim block dryer is to be heated by steam generated from a steam boiler powered by biogas.

The biogas is generated from oil palm sludge which is being treated using anaerobic treatment system. Methane is produced, scrubbed before it is burnt in a gas boiler or gas engine.

By using steam heating, their drying cost is virtually free as the whole palm oil mill and skim block factory is energy self sufficient.

In 1992, our Managing Director designed a dual fuel crumb rubber that uses firewood indirect heating system as its main source of heating while a diesel burner was used as back up. This plant was located in Malawi, Central Africa.

EMP MALAYSIA SPOTS NEW LOOK

Our Managing Director has decided to spot a new look for our Corporate image. Instead of our casual red T shirt with our EMP logo for field work, we want to project a smarter corporate image by incorporating our formal corporate shirt.

Lighter in weight and made from cotton, the new corporate shirt will be worn by our team for official functions where we have to meet our customers and clients.

We want to invoke a sense of confidence for our clients who have supported our company over these past 27 years.

The red and black shirt was selected as it reflected our Corporate colours while the yellow golden embroidery enhances our EMP logo and name of our Team member.

Hope our customers and suppliers love our new Corporate shirt.

EMP TRADING DIVISION RECEIVES 3.4MT ETHEPHON PLUS 5% ORDER

29th. February 2012

Our Trading Division is to receive a trial order of 3.4 metric tonnes of Ethephon Plus 5% (Green) from a new customer.

The customer paid us a visit last week and we had a fruitful discussion at our manufacturer's premises. If the product works well, the company is interested to order in bulk in the future.

Recently, our latex stimulants for rubber trees have been requested by a number of customers. Some even requested us to contract manufacture for them under their own brand.

To do this, the order must be large enough to justify this request. We are interested to listen to proposals on this matter. For the time being, manufacturing base of this product will be retained in Malaysia so that the quality of the product can be maintained.
