EMP MALAYSIA RECEIVES NEW PROJECT ORDER FROM THAILAND

After 6 months of face to face negotiation with our client on the production of skim block rubber using dual heating for the dryer, our company has been awarded a complete automatic skim block rubber processing line.

This new line incorporates the wet processing line and dry processing line with steam heating and LPG to supplement the heating should there be any shortfall of steam. An EMP moving chamber press and a metal detector is also incorporated.

The new contract is a turnkey one which our company will be involved in both mechanical and electrical installation at site.

This new project will be completed by end December 2014 or earlier.

EMP MALAYSIA TESTS DUAL FIRED SKIM BLOCK DRYER

Our Projects and Engineering Division has tested and energized our dual fired Skim block dryer in Southern Thailand.

The dryer will be using steam heating or diesel fired. Designed to be user friendly, the drying costs will be lower if the dryer runs completely on in-house generated steam from their palm oil factory.

Our company has over the years has accumulated knowledge in designing drying systems that use alternative fuel sources eg from diesel, LPG, firewood, steam and electrical heating. We custom design drying systems to match with our customers needs.

Our long term rubber plantation group for the past 22 years has requested our company to quote for the supply of Ethephon Plus and sharpening stones to them again. This plantation group is located in Africa.

Recently, our Trading Division was requested to offer our minimum order of Ethephon Plus of 5% and 10% to potential Thai distributor.

EMP MALAYSIA DELIVERS RUBBER TAPPING KNIVES TO AFRICA

Our long term customer in Africa has ordered a consignment of Gebung type rubber tapping knives for mature trees and young rubber trees.

The consignment was couriered out last Friday and is now in Africa for delivery.

Over the years, our customer has bought rubber tapping knives, sharpening stones and Ethephon Plus latex stimulants from our company. We value their long term support in our company.

PROJECTS AND ENGINEERING DIVISION SUBMITS TSR PROCESS LINE TO PHILIPPINES

Our Projects and engineering Division has just submitted our price quotation to a Filipino company for the setting up of TSR 20 rubber processing line in Mindanao.

They will be evaluating our offer and we welcome their feedback on our proposal.

Eventhough the capacity is not big, it is good that they want a smaller capacity plant initially with option to expand in the future.

Our company is interested to design, supply and commission smaller plants rather than big plants which require higher capital, financing and at least 2 years to complete. Smaller plants offer less capital investment, shorter turn around time and faster delivery period.

EMP MALAYSIA SELLS OFF SLAB CUTTER, ROTARY CUTTER AND WET TWIN SCROLL WET PREBREAKER

Our company sold off some pre-cleaning rubber machinery in our stock viz. a Slab Cutter, Rotary Cutter and a Wet Twin Scroll Wet Prebreaker recently.

The rubber processing machinery were fabricated earlier for an overseas project which has now been delayed or deferred due to low rubber prices.

In view of the uncertainty, our company has decided to dispose of these machinery to buyers on a first come and first basis.

Currently, we have only some rubber machinery left for sale and we hope to sell them soon.
